I've attached the crash report folder for Affinity Publisher in case it's of any use, and would really appreciate any help. I really need to work on this project, but in is impossible right now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Publisher. I opened last years calendar file, and it also froze once I scrolled through the styles. If I import the styles from last years calendar into it, as soon as I scroll through the styles it freezes. How it freezes as soon as the file is opened. This caused Publisher to immediately freeze. So I decided to select "Show Hierarchical" from the context menu of the Text Styles panel. The memory use of Publisher just continues to climb, and there is not option but to use the task manager to kill the program. It begins to scroll, then becomes jerky, then freezes. You may have to check with Microsoft Hardware support for more information. Everything was fine until I scrolled down the list of text styles. Hello M Sunderlin, The issue you have posted is related to Microsoft Wireless Mouse 3500 and would be better suited in Microsoft Hardware support. So I imported them from last year's Publisher file. I had to look up what was causing this undesirable problem and found that it is due to the scroll wheel locking. The mouse takes quite a while to respond after startup and coming out of sleep mode.
I am running Vista 64 bit and have installed the intellipoint 8.2 driver. Comfortable design, Right/Left Hand Use, Wireless, USB 2.0 with Nano transceiver for PC/Laptop/Desktop. I would be very grateful for some help with the microsoft wireless mouse 3500. I had begun the layout for next year, and realised that all my text styles were missing. Buy Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 - Black. This is the third year I am using Affinity Publisher for the job.
Switch to the Driver tab then select Uninstall and press Enter. Select your mouse device and press Enter to open device Properties. In the device manager window, open Mice and other pointing devices. Press Windows Key + X then select Control Panel. Everything was fine until a little under a week ago. This is another method to fix windows 10 mouse freeze or stuck issues. If anyone has any insight at all as to what could be causing issues with the pointing device/mouse that would be causing this freezing issue, I would really appreciate you sharing! Thanks so much for your time.I am experiencing the same problem.
This is extremely frustrating for employees, especially considering most have their laptops docked and are working off of two monitors, as it requires them to open their laptop and navigate using the touchpad until the mouse decides to work again.Īll of our machines are running Windows 10 and have the most recent 1809 update, all drivers and firmware have been updated (to the best of my knowledge).
I have installed the Logitech Unifying Software and tried un-pairing, re-pairing, and even pairing to a different dongle to try and resolve the issue, but unfortunately for some reason the mouse intermittently freezes or locks up completely. One issue that has surfaced recently, however, is with the Logitech M310 wireless mouse that comes as a part of a wireless mouse and keyboard combo, both being paired to the same USB dongle. Our company has been purchasing Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard combinations for a couple of years now, and have not had very many issues at all.
